Brain House

Brain House

When things become confusing have you ever flipped your lid?

Done something without thinking about it?

Been told that you’ve done something but can’t remember?

When people are stressed everyone does things on impulse, without really thinking.

Sometimes people with FASD become dysregulated, when different parts of their brain have trouble talking to each other

The brain house helps you remember to calm so your upstairs brain and downstairs brain can communicate.

What do you do to calm down and put your lid back on when you have flipped?

You can draw or build your own brain house. To make a brain house you just need two boxes, some tape, and some characters. Have fun!

Thanks to Peter and his family for this video and thanks off to Dr Hazel Harrison for this concept.
